Sharing some of your achievements

Last week, advanced students had a mini-roleplay in which they needed to pretend working for a TV news programme. Some of you were in charge of the decoration and logo, others were the teleprompters who needed to write the news, and the rest were the presentators. Needless to say, this was really rewarding, having seen you communicate in the language we're studying. Congratulations!!!

Extra Practice May 20th

Independent learning is considered extremely important when learning a language. Sometimes it is not sufficient the practice we get in class or with our books. Checking some resources, I came across two interesting handouts of structures currently being checked out in either evening or Saturday classes. Please, do log in our mail, use the password I'd given you in class and answer the handout you find suitable for your level. Do keep in mind that doubts can be answered in class and that the documents will always be in pdf format.
These documents are used exclusively for teaching-learning purposes.

Building up a blog is not an easy task. I'm still working on it, because I want it to shine for all of us. Please, do consider doing the voting, the time is almost over and only four people have voted. I have a lot of students, do not disappoint me please.

Writing Taks -- Symbology

I have already uploaded the symbology we'll be using for checking your writing tasks.

The procedure when writing a task is as follows:

1. A writing task is done in class or asked for homework.
2. A date is established to be delivered.
3. I check it using the symbology and writing some comments.
4. You get the task back. You are responsible for correcting mistakes and follow the suggestions to improve it.
5. Both the original and the new version are handed in a second date (you decide when)
6. I check it again using the symbology and writing some extra comments.
7. You get both tasks back. You are responsible for improving it the best you can.
8. You hand in the original, second version and last and final version.
9. I check it and write the final comments including a grade.
10. You are responsible for taking into considerations all the suggestions so that you feel more confident when doing your exams.
